What are the responsibilities and job description for the Exciting Inpatient APP Opportunities in Southern New Jersey position at Medical Staffing Associates?
Recruiting full-time Advanced Practice Providers on behalf of Cooper University Health Care in Southern New Jersey. Exciting Inpatient APP Opportunities Available in Southern New Jersey:
- Schedule: 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week (transitioning to 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week as the team expands).
- Coverage: Primarily weekdays, with every 5th weekend included in the regular schedule. No nights, call, or OR responsibilities.
- Role: Focus on floor work, rounding on patients, and managing new neurosurgical consults in collaboration with neurosurgical residents and attendings.
- Experience Required: Neurosurgical experience preferred; Ortho spine or Neuro ICU backgrounds will be considered. This role is not open to new graduates.
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week, covering both weekdays and weekends as part of a rotating schedule.
- Experience Required: Background in Neurocritical Care or Critical Care to manage complex neuro-critical care patients in collaboration with 2 Neurointensivists and rotating Neurology & Neurosurgery Residents.
- Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 3 days per week, covering both weekdays and weekends on a rotating schedule.
- Experience Required: Similar to the day/night split position, requiring experience in Neurocritical Care or Critical Care.
Important Note: Due to hospital policy, Acute Care Certification is required for Nurse Practitioners. Unfortunately, FNPs cannot be considered for these roles. Additionally, APPs in the Neuro ICU should be comfortable reviewing imaging as part of patient management.
