What are the responsibilities and job description for the Family Practitioner - Oncologist (200-1585) position at Medical Staff of Island Health?
We have part-time opportunities to join the current team of a Hematologist and 2 GP oncologists that are overseeing chemotherapy for cancer patients in the Cowichan District . The main role of these positions is managing patients on active cancer treatment. No oncology experience is necessary. Training through the Family Practice Oncology Network is available.

- Recruitment Incentive: $10,000 (pro-rated for full-time)
- Relocation Costs Reimbursement: up to $15,000 (amount based on location relocating from)
- Fee Premium: 4.20%
- Annual Flat Fee: $6,508.80
- Rural CME: starting at $2,200/annum in year 3 & 4 to a maximum of $4,400.00/annum after 4 years.
