Duties:
- Perform vital signs measurements, including blood pressure, pulse rate, temperature, and respiratory rate
- Assist healthcare professionals with medical procedures and examinations
- Provide medical administrative support, such as scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and managing billing and coding
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers
- Prepare patients for X-rays and other diagnostic tests
- Ensure proper sterilization of medical equipment and instruments
- Maintain inventory of medical supplies and order replenishments as needed
- Educate patients on self-care techniques and provide instructions for medication usage
- Assist with basic life support measures when necessary
- Provide compassionate patient care and ensure patient comfort throughout their visit
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Medical Assistant or relevant healthcare role
- Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of anatomy and physiology
- Familiarity with coding systems for medical procedures and diagnoses
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures
- Basic life support certification preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
