Responsibilities
- Perform non-invasive aesthetic procedures such as dermal fillers, dermal laser treatments, Botox (botulinum toxin treatment), and other skin rejuvenation techniques following established protocols.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including skin analysis and medical history review, to determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Educate clients on treatment options, expected outcomes, aftercare instructions, and potential risks to foster informed decision-making.
- Maintain strict adherence to aseptic technique and infection control standards during all procedures to ensure patient safety.
- Manage patient documentation accurately within electronic health record (EHR) systems, including treatment notes, consent forms, and follow-up care instructions.
- Monitor patient responses during procedures, managing any adverse reactions promptly and effectively.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in esthetic laser treatments and cosmetic procedures to provide cutting-edge care.
Experience
- Registered Nurse (RN) license with active state certification required.
- Prior experience in medical office settings with familiarity in esthetic laser treatments or cosmetic procedures preferred.
- Knowledge of dermatology or ophthalmology practices is advantageous.
- Experience with injectable treatments such as Botox (botulinum toxin) and dermal fillers is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy knowledge related to facial structures, and aseptic technique standards.
- Background in patient assessment, medical documentation, and working within EMR/EHR systems like Epic or Cerner is beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate clients effectively about treatment options and aftercare.
