Job description:
MSA Hospice of the Upstate currently seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to fill a Director of Professional Services (DOPS) to join our Hospice team in Greenville, SC.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced, motivated individual to join a rapidly growing agency!
- General oversight of patient care and effective management of utilization of services.
- Coordination of agency functions.
- Oversee/supervise team of clinical and non-clinical staff including full-time & PRN RNs, LPNs, PTs, OTs, and Home Health Aides
Job Requirements
- A Registered Nurse (RN). BSN strongly preferred.
- Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of South Carolina .
- Progressive clinical and management experience in a home health setting strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years experience within the last 5 years in a MEDICARE CERTIFIED hospice agency setting required.
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of federal/state laws and guidelines pertaining to Hospice and Medicare.
- High level management skills needed to be successful in the role as a leader to include conflict management, negotiation, team building, communication and coaching/mentoring others.
