We’re looking for an experienced, passionate Clinical Education Director to lead and elevate hospice education across our organization. What You’ll Do

As our Clinical Education Director, you’ll help shape the way clinical teams learn, grow, and deliver care across our hospice locations. You’ll partner with leaders throughout the organization to build education strategies that are practical, engaging, and directly connected to patient care.

You’ll have the opportunity to:

• Lead our hospice education strategy, developing programs that support new-hire onboarding, ongoing professional development, clinical excellence, and regulatory compliance.
• Develop and deliver engaging education that helps clinicians translate standards and requirements into confident, real-world practice.
• Partner with clinical and operational leaders to identify needs, solve challenges, and ensure education supports both agency and organizational goals.
• Visit hospice locations and conduct audits and chart reviews to identify opportunities for improvement and develop targeted education solutions.

Partner with field RNs through hands-on precepting and ride-alongs, observing clinical practice in the field to identify opportunities for education, process improvement, compliance, and professional development. Use these experiences to recognize trends, celebrate strengths, and develop targeted education or coaching where needed.

• Create and enhance policies, procedures, and training resources in response to industry standards, best practices, and regulatory changes.
• Support quality and documentation initiatives, including HQRP, HOPE, CMS programs, and other key hospice quality measures.
• Contribute to performance improvement efforts, helping agencies develop and implement effective corrective action plans.
• Deliver education in a variety of settings, including on-site training, virtual learning, and web-based education.
• Build a culture of continuous learning, quality, safety, accountability, and professional growth.

What You’ll Bring

You’ll bring:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required
• 5 years of hospice experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of hospice clinical practices, regulations, and quality requirements
• Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills
• Confidence using Microsoft Office, web-conferencing platforms, and learning management systems
• The ability to connect with people at every level of an organization
• A strategic mindset with strong attention to detail
• A genuine passion for developing clinicians and improving patient care
