Job description
Medical Nutrition Network, LLC has been serving the community for over thirty years. Our registered dietitians are dedicated to promoting long-term health on an individualized basis.
We are looking for an experienced and personable administrative assistant with the initiative to provide support to four dietitians. Duties include answering phones, greeting patients, scheduling appointments, entering new patient information, filing, light medical insurance billing, collecting payments and completing daily and monthly closeouts, creating social media content, and keeping the office clean and organized.
A successful applicant will take initiative, be proactive in problem solving, and have excellent customer service and communication skills, computer proficiency, organizational abilities, and a working knowledge of medical terminology. Previous medical office experience is preferred.
Hours are generally Monday through Friday 9am to 5pm but may vary.
Duties include:
Answering phones
Scheduling and confirming appointments
Correspondence with patients and referring physicians via phone, email, or fax
Collecting payments and completing daily closeouts
Filing of medical records and accounts payable
Light medical insurance billing- both electronic and paper
Generating monthly statements
Ordering office supplies
Maintain schedules for four registered dietitians
Creating patient education materials and social media posts
Keeping the office organized and clean
Skills preferred:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel)
Familiarity with Medisoft
Experience with creating social media content
Ability to be resourceful and work independently
Ability to multi-task, be flexible‚ and maintain a positive attitude
Effective communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
35 hours per week
Start date: September 15, 2025, Training prior
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Los Angeles, CA for an Administrative Office Manager. The Administrative Office Manager will be responsible for managing office operations, providing administrative support to executives, handling office equipment, and ensuring effective communication within the office. Duties also include overseeing customer service, coordinating schedules, maintaining records, and organizing company events.
