As an R&D Process Engineer, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring new product designs are manufacturable, scalable, and built for long-term success.
You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, develop robust assembly methods, and lead technology transfer from development to production — driving efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement every step of the way.
What You’ll Do
Champion Manufacturability: Collaborate with internal teams and clients to embed manufacturability early in design and avoid costly late-stage changes.
Develop & Validate Processes: Create, document, and validate assembly processes that meet yield, efficiency, and quality goals.
Design Tooling & Equipment: Specify and implement fixtures, tooling, and equipment that enable scalable production.
Lead Technology Transfer: Own the transition from development to production through training, documentation, and process qualification.
Partner Across Teams: Serve as a key liaison between R&D, Quality, Regulatory, and Manufacturing to ensure process readiness.
Drive Continuous Improvement: Apply Lean and Six Sigma principles to optimize workflows, reduce variability, and enhance product quality.
What You’ll Bring
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
Experience: 3–5 years in manufacturing or process engineering (contract manufacturing preferred).
Technical Expertise:
Proficiency with SolidWorks or equivalent CAD software.
Strong foundation in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
Experience with ISO, cGMP, and ISO 13485 environments preferred.
Skilled in statistical analysis, DOEs, and Minitab.
Attributes:

Salary : $60,000 - $90,000
