What are the responsibilities and job description for the Programmer/Analyst, Off Hours position at Medical Information Technology Inc?

As a member of our Off Hours Client Services team, your job would involve:
- Troubleshooting and researching issues in our Enterprise Health Record, working in applications code and/or systems-level code
- Working with other members of the Off Hours technical team to triage and resolve identified issues, including those that may lie in the infrastructure and/or in the codeset of our EHR applications
- Acting as a front-line technical resource for recognizing and resolving technical coding issues in the healthcare field, understanding the critical nature of any system disruption in a healthcare setting
- Working on scheduled customer technical projects, meant to limit customer downtime by doing them off-hours. Examples include moving code patches, application setup, work in support of data center relocations, etc.
- Hours for the position are Tuesday - Friday, 12 AM - 9 AM.
- Bachelor’s or associate's degree with coursework in a computer programming-related field (i.e., Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering)
- Knowledge of a high-level programming language, such as C or Java is a plus
- Familiarity with Windows Server and desktop environments
- Familiarity with cloud computing, focusing on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Experience with database management and architecture
- Flexible and proactive approach to problem-solving
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Hiring salary range: $54,000- $69,600 per year. This position includes a 15% shift differential.
Actual salary will be determined based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
