QEEG Technician/ Medical Assistant – Brain Mapping & Neurofeedback
Overview:
We are looking for a QEEG Technician/ Medical Assistant to join our team, supporting neurological care through brain mapping and neurofeedback therapy. This role involves collecting QEEG/EEG data, assisting with neurofeedback treatments, and educating patients on the benefits of brain training. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, compassionate, and eager to learn.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patient rooms and maintain neurofeedback equipment.
- Educate patients on brain mapping, neurofeedback, and treatment benefits.
- Collect QEEG/EEG data, generate reports, and track treatment progress.
- Administer neuropsychological assessments and gather patient history.
- Execute and adjust neurofeedback treatment plans based on patient response.
- Maintain accurate records, ensure HIPAA compliance, and assist with scheduling.
- Collaborate with medical staff to enhance patient outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Experience with QEEG, EEG, or neurofeedback is a plus; willing to train motivated candidates.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and computer skills (Mac & Windows).
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Compassionate, detail-oriented, and patient-focused.
- Must be 18 , have a valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation.
- Medical Assistant certifcation by hire date, or willingess to obtain.
