What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physician / Physician Assistant – Hair Restoration position at Medical Hair?
Medical Hair is seeking a licensed Physician (MD/DO) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our growing hair-restoration practice in Northern Virginia.
We are looking for a patient-focused clinician interested in hair-loss medicine, medical treatments, and hair transplantation. Previous hair-restoration experience is preferred but not required; training and clinical support will be provided to the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Conduct hair-loss consultations and patient evaluations
- Diagnose hair-loss conditions and develop individualized treatment plans
- Prescribe appropriate medications and treatments within scope of practice
- Perform pre- and post-procedure evaluations and follow-up care
- Participate in or support hair-transplant procedures as appropriate
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and compliant medical records
- Collaborate with our clinical, hair-transplant, and patient-care teams
Qualifications
- MD/DO or PA-C with an active Virginia license or eligibility for Virginia licensure
- Strong clinical judgment and patient communication skills
- Interest or experience in hair restoration, dermatology, aesthetics, cosmetic medicine, or a related field
- Interest in developing expertise in medical hair-loss treatment and hair transplantation
Hair-transplant experience is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
Position Structure
The role may be structured as part-time, full-time, or flexible/per-procedure, depending on the candidate’s experience and availability.
Compensation
