Contract/1099 Opportunity -- Nurse Practitioner:
We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner to ensure our service members receive the best care possible. You will play a vital role in the continued care of these men and women, while growing your current practice.
Role Overview
As a contracted Nurse Practitioner with Leidos QTC Health Service affiliated professional corporation, you will conduct general medicine, occupational, and disability health examinations including:
- Reviewing medical history and associated records
- Interpreting clinical data
- Completing written reports and generating independent medical opinions (IMO)
The examinations may be completed in-person, in the examinee's home, or at large event settings for the Reserve Health Readiness Program. Your duties will include:
- OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH EXAMS: Pre-employment, post-employment, and annual physicals
- WRITTEN MEDICAL OPINIONS BASED ON PROVIDED MEDICAL RECORDS/INFORMATION
- VETERANS BENEFITS ADMINISTRATION DISABILITY BENEFIT QUESTIONNAIRES (DBQs)
- PRIMARY MEDICAL EVALUATIONS INCLUDING REVIEW OF SYSTEMS, PAP SMEAR, AND RANGE OF MOTION
You will collaborate with other professionals and communicate with internal and client team members to determine the most effective way forward on behalf of the examinee population.
Requirements
- Masters Degree in Nurse Practitioner Studies from an accredited university or college
- Completed Education and training in a US accredited, post-baccalaureate program
- Minimum 2 years of post-graduate experience in General Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Minimum 3 years of post-graduate primary care experience
- Unrestricted State medical licensure without limitations to perform full scope of authorized practice
- Ability to pass a medical clearance
- Experience conducting occupational/disability medical examinations
Flexible Schedule
Providers must complete required online training courses, up to 13 courses, and obtain CPEP Certification. Our department assists with any issues, questions, or needs you may have while contracted with Leidos QTC Health Services.
