Job Summary
As an R&D Engineer you'll be at the heart of developing best-in-class Endoscopy products. All in an environment that encourages people to take measured risks, learn from mistakes and push the boundaries of engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Support test method validations (TMV) for an Endoscopy products.
- Collaborating with cross-functional experts in a wide range of fields to solve complex engineering and business challenges.
- Translating highly technical results into easily understood recommendations that will influence senior stakeholders.
- Managing third party designers, suppliers and contract manufacturers to deliver high quality engineering solutions at an accelerated pace.
- Evaluating advanced and integrated technologies using both analytical and bench testing approaches.
- Mechanical, Materials, Biomedical or similar Engineering or Physics degree.
- Bachelors required. Firm.
- Must have 5 years of experience.
- Proficiency with lab equipment.
- Solid background in Engineering concepts and product systems.
- Proven self-starter who runs towards critical issues, ambiguous requirements or loosely defined challenges.
- Leveraging or providing rationale for testing sample sizes, design requirements for TMV and DV/DVal activities
- Skilled problem solver and hands on troubleshooter having experience with problem solving methodologies i.e. Shainin, DOE etc. a plus.
- Designs systems and specifies components.
- Experience working in a regulated environment.
- Experience with Standards and Compliance.
- Build Quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements.
