Role Description
This part-time position is for a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) at our Los Angeles, CA location to support our MaleMan reference lab service. The role involves conducting laboratory tests, using and maintaining laboratory equipment, tracking quality control processes, and supporting the analysis of semen and fertility-related samples. The technician will also handle data accuracy and compliance with relevant medical standards in a laboratory setting.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Medical Technology and Laboratory Medicine
- Hands-on experience with Laboratory Skills and using Laboratory Equipment
- Familiarity with Quality Control processes in a medical or lab environment
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to quality standards
- Knowledge of CLIA, CDPH, and CAP regulations is a plus
- An associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related field is required
- Certification as an MLT (ASCP or equivalent) is required per California regulatory standards
