We are seeking a Behavioral Health Clinician to provide evidence-based, culturally relevant outpatient behavioral health services to individuals and families experiencing behavioral, emotional, and mental health disorders.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct behavioral health screenings, assessments, and diagnostic evaluations
- Develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide individual, group, family, and marital therapy
- Provide crisis intervention and safety planning
- Provide care coordination, advocacy, motivational interviewing, and patient education
- Integrate mental health and substance use disorder interventions as appropriate
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary clinical teams
- Maintain timely and accurate electronic health records
- Coordinate referrals with healthcare providers and community agencies
- Participate in staff meetings, training, and multidisciplinary team meetings
- Provide rotating after-hours crisis and emergency services
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related discipline
- LCSW, LPC, or LMFT preferred
- Unlicensed clinicians may receive clinical supervision toward licensure requirements
- Alaska driver’s license or ability to obtain one within 6 months
- Alaska Chemical Dependency Counselor I or MAC certification preferred
- AHA BLS within 3 months
- Experience with behavioral health assessment and diagnosis required
- Ability to provide assessment, treatment planning, and referrals for patients of all ages
