Cardiac Sonographer – $10,000 Sign-On Bonus | Wilmington, DE

Medical Edge Recruitment has an immediate opening for a Full-Time Cardiac Sonographer in Wilmington, Delaware.

Position Details:

Pay: $41.97–$57.71 per hour
Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 for eligible candidates
Schedule: Five 8-hour shifts, day/evening
Hours: 10:00 AM–6:30 PM
Location: Wilmington, DE
Weekend, holiday, and call rotation required
Occasional coverage at an additional location in Newark may be requested

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic cardiac ultrasound and echocardiography procedures
• Assist cardiologists with transesophageal echocardiography (TEE)
• Document patient clinical history and technologist impressions
• Assist with the training of cardiac ultrasound students and Cardiology Fellows
• Perform pediatric echocardiography if experienced
• Participate in call, weekend, and holiday rotations
• Provide quality patient care across pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations

Requirements:

• Graduate of a medical diagnostic ultrasound program or equivalent allied health training
• Registered or registry-eligible in cardiac sonography
• RDCS through ARDMS or RCS through CCI required
• New graduates may be considered if registry-eligible and able to obtain their registry within the first year
• CPR certification required
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical examination
