Medical Consulting Group (MCG) is seeking an HR Generalist to support HR operations for MCG and assigned client organizations. This role is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys variety, client interaction, and providing high-touch HR support across multiple organizations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide HR support for MCG and assigned client groups with strict confidentiality and professionalism
- Assist with talent acquisition activities, including job postings, applicant screening, background checks, and onboarding
- Administer employee benefit programs (insurance, retirement, time off), including renewals, enrollments, changes, terminations, and employee inquiries
- Coordinate leaves of absence (FMLA, STD/LTD, state-specific leaves), including employee communication and documentation
- Manage workers’ compensation claims, including reporting, carrier communication, and audits
- Assist with payroll processing and serve as backup to the Payroll Specialist
- Maintain HRIS (Paycom) data accuracy and support compliance initiatives (ACA, audits, reporting)
- Communicate effectively with client employees, managers, vendors, and insurance carriers
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related business field (or equivalent experience)
- 1 year of HR Generalist experience
- Demonstrated experience with employee benefits administration and benefits analytics, including renewal support, eligibility tracking, billing reconciliation
- Strong Excel skills, including use of formulas, data validation, pivot tables, and benefits/payroll reporting
- Experience supporting multiple client groups, benefits administration, or recruiting is a plus
- Strong customer service, organization, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
