Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Engineer located in Bellingham, MA. The Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing new medical components, improving existing products, and managing production projects. Day-to-day tasks include conducting research, developing prototypes, conducting tests, analyzing data, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring product compliance with industry standards.
Qualifications
- Experience in product design and development
- Proficiency in CAD software CNC and other engineering tools
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, including CNC machining and master grinding techniques
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards for medical devices
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field
- Previous experience in the medical device industry is a plus
