The Manager of Event Experience - Philanthropy's purpose is to plan, develop, support, and implement impactful, philanthropic event strategies and programs to drive support for organizational priorities. Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Communications, Internal Communications and Events and Senior Director of Engagement, this individual will work independently to manage the portfolio of philanthropic events such as major gift announcements, naming ceremonies, local and regional salon events, fundraisers and other donor-facing institutional and alumni events. The Manager will be an essential member of the Philanthropy and University Events teams and will also collaborate with and provide direction and guidance to an Event Consultant - Philanthropy to successfully plan and execute events. Appropriate experience may be substituted for education on an equivalent basis.
Minimum experience: 5 - 8 years of integrated communications or event planning experience, plus 2 years of project team and/or volunteer management.
Preferred experience: 8 plus years of event planning or event management
