Position Description:
The Medical College of Wisconsin is seeking candidates at the Assistant or Associate Professor level for our Section of Hospital Medicine in the Division of General Internal Medicine. Our faculty work at Froedtert Hospital, a 500-bed, regional referral center in Milwaukee, WI. As a hospitalist nocturnist, the duties will be in the role of the nighttime admitting medical officer (NAMO) or weekend daytime admitting medical officer which will include personally performing initial medicine workups, covering urgent issues for inpatient teams, supervising residents, performing urgent consultations or procedures, and supervising and evaluating, as necessary, challenging resident admissions or cases. Faculty have the opportunity to participate in a variety of scholarly projects. Structured mentoring in medical education, quality improvement and research is readily available through the section of hospital medicine.

Position Requirements:
- Completion of a U.S. based Internal Medicine, Internal Medicine/Pediatrics or Medicine/Psychiatry Residency and board certification within 2-years of joining MCW.
- Ability to obtain an unrestricted medical license to practice in the State of Wisconsin.
