Structural Interventional Cardiology Opening with The Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee
The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) is recruiting an experienced Structural Interventional Cardiologist to join a thriving structural interventional program at Froedtert Health/Medical College of Wisconsin (FMCW) in Milwaukee.
Our academic practice has over 60 cardiologists and has state of the art equipment and new facilities. The comprehensive FMCW cardiac program includes a full complement of complex and structural interventions (TAVR, MitraClip, transcatheter valve-in-valve implantation, paravalvular leak occlusion, valvuloplasty, LAA occlusion, percutaneous ASD/PFO closure, etc) and is participating in important clinical trials in the mitral, tricuspid, and aortic valve space.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced structural interventional cardiologist with >3-5 years of experience with leadership skills to join the program, bring additional innovation to FMCW and support the training of the next generation of structural interventional cardiologists.
Areas of responsibility will include, but not be limited to a combination of teaching, patient care, & research for expansion of the high quality structural heart program at FMCW.
The Medical College of Wisconsin is 1 of only 2 Medical Schools in Wisconsin, and in partnership with Froedtert Hospital & the Froedtert Health System and Medical College Physicians, with more than 1,250 physicians serving Milwaukee and Southeast Wisconsin.
