Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role as a Postdoctoral Researcher located in Columbia, SC. The Postdoctoral Researcher will engage in advanced scientific research, conduct experiments, analyze data, and contribute to publications and presentations. Responsibilities also include maintaining laboratory equipment, collaborating with team members, and actively participating in academic discussions. Opportunities for teaching and mentoring students may also be part of the role.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Laboratory Skills, including maintaining and operating scientific equipment
- Strong Research and Data Analysis abilities, particularly in collecting, processing, and interpreting data
- Background in Physics or a related scientific discipline relevant to the role
- Experience or willingness to engage in Teaching and mentoring activities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
- Ph.D. in a relevant field is required
- Previous experience in a similar research-focused position or with advanced scientific methodologies is a plus
