Job Summary and Qualifications
Under the supervision of Director of Environmental Services, the EVS Technician is responsible for maintaining cleanliness throughout the facility. Performs routine manual tasks to clean and care for an assigned area, linen room and/or waste handling on a daily basis. Cleaning and care relate to areas in public offices, public assembly areas, and patient care areas, therapy areas, halls and foyers. Also, performs a variety of routine cleaning functions in assigned area to maintain a sanitary, attractive and orderly condition. Follow established cleaning methods in performing daily tasks.
- Perform routine repetitive cleaning of assigned patient rooms, offices, rest rooms and other areas.
- Keep all equipment in good working condition.
- Perform periodic or situational duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.
- Communicate with immediate supervisor regularly
- Maintain cleanliness in common areas (i.e. public restrooms, nursing stations, etc.)
- Establish working and professional relationship with peers and supervisors.
