Job Summary And Qualifications
The Transplant Assistant Kidney Living Donor provides support for the solid organ transplant team.
What you will do in this role:
- Greets patients, visitors to our medical office
- Triages all phone calls into our Transplant Clinic
- Triage and process messages from all patients
- Provides assistance to patients when needed
- Manages inventory of necessary office supplies and coordinates ordering
- Ensure the reception area remains welcoming and organized
- Patients transfers within the facility
- Facilitates patient flow by notifying the provider and clinical staff of any patient delays
- Collects and provides data entry consistent with established quality and integrity standards
- Maintains patient confidentiality
- Supports medical record integrity
- 1-2 years clerical or medical office experience preferred
- Ability to work independently
- Strong oral and written skills
- Strong organization and time management skills to ensure patient flow
- Ability to meet and deal effectively with others
- Proficiency with computer
