Job Summary And Qualifications
What qualifications you will need:
Education/Experience
REQUIRED:
- Some college or technical training is preferred
- Five years’ experience in a particular trade such as mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, boilers, stationary operating engineer, etc.
- Three years’ experience in a healthcare setting.
REQUIRED: None
Knowledge, Skills &
ABILITIES:
- Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing in English.
- Ability to read and understand facility drawings and technical documentation.
- Ability to work with computer applications including e-mail, building automation systems, computerized maintenance management systems, fire alarm systems, etc.
- Good critical thinking skills to understand and be able to troubleshoot mechanical, plumbing and electrical systems.
- Ability to learn and master computer, machinery and system operating procedures,
- Customer service skills including effective listening
