Job Summary And Qualifications
Performs direct patient care as assigned by the RN and reports observations, results of procedures, and patient needs to appropriate person.
- Performs psychomotor skills as outlined during educational training and orientation process (see Critical Skills Chcklst).
- Maintains responsibility for cleaning, stocking, and organizing of storage areas.
- Documents pertinent data in concise and timely manner.
- Demonstrates the ability to respond to emergency procedure
- Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Vocational School Graduate required
- Paramedic (EMT-P), or Emergency Medical Paramedic (EMP) - required
- 1 year acute care hospital experience required
