Job Summary And Qualifications

• The CT/MRI Technologist performs superior/quality CT and MRI scans on all ages under the direction of a Radiologist.
• Maintains a safe and therapeutic diagnostic environment based on practice standards and magnet safety guidelines.
• Participates in departmental improvement activities
  
  

What qualifications you will need:

• Registered with the State of Texas as a Medical Radiologic Technologist
• Certified by the ARRT (R)(CT)(MRI)
• If current employee is participating in a cross-training program, all training will be completed under the direct supervision of a registered technologist and certification in alternate modality is required within 6 months of completion of training
• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS provider
• Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology
• Must have six months supervised MRI scanning; or, if the technologist was performing MRI prior to 1996, must have competency assessed by a Radiologis
