Job Summary And Qualifications
The Echo cardio grapher is responsible for performing 2D/3D Transthoracic Echocardiograms, Dobutamine Stress Echocardiograms, setting up and assisting with Transesophageal Echocardiograms (to include TAVR, Watchman, and Mitra Clips), to the standards set forth by the American Society of Echocardiography and Medical City Fort Worth. This individual demonstrates increasing competency in delivery of care to a primarily adult population. Employee will recognize the population specific needs of the patients and apply the appropriate knowledge, skill sand behaviors to meet those needs when performing patient care activities.

What qualifications you will need:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support
- (RCS) Registered Cardiac Sonographer must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date
- Vocational School Graduate- graduate of an accredited program
- For new graduates: Minimum of six months specialized training in echocardiography preferred.
- 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (ARDMS or CCI) (within one year of hire date)
