Our Dietitians are responsible for coordinating patient nutritional care under the general supervision of the Director of Food and Nutrition Services. Medical City Lewisville is a full-service 190 bed medical and surgical facility. We offer a broad spectrum of care to the communities of southern Denton County. Our patient tower has two floors dedicated to women’s services. We have a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Medical City Lewisville is a Level III Trauma Center and a Primary Stroke Center. Excellent customer service and patient safety are our top priorities. We have over 360 physicians and 800 healthcare associates. Job Summary And Qualifications

What you will do in this role:
- You will be a member of Nutrition Support Team with the pharmacist and physician(s).
- You will provide nutritional screenings and assessments of patients.
- You will educate the patient on therapeutic diets.
- You will inform Aide staff in deciding which patient foods are allowed and disallowed based on the prescribed diet.
- You will document the patient’s tolerance, appropriateness, response to nutritional support and make recommendations.
- Commission Dietetic Registration
- Licensed Dietician must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
- Bachelors Degree
