Job Summary And Qualifications

Performs any combination of following tasks before, during, and after surgery to assist surgical team: Places equipment and supplies in operating room and arranges instruments, according to instructions. Assists team members to place and position patient on OR table. Scrubs arms and hands and dons gown and gloves. Aids sterile team to don gowns and gloves. Passes instruments and supplies to surgeon and performs other tasks as directed by surgeon during operation. Assists with dressings on patient following surgery. Counts sponges, needles, and instruments according to policy. Takes part in Time-out and maintains sterile field throughout procedure. Performs any other duties as assigned by leadership.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (CST) Certified Surgical Technologist
• High School Graduate / GED
