Our Clinical Dietitians are responsible for coordinating patient nutritional care under the general supervision of the Director of Food and Nutrition Services. We offer a wide range of services, including dedicated women’s services, Level II NICU, robotic surgery and emergency services. We are a Primary Stroke Center. We are accredited by The Joint Commission, American Heart Association and American Stroke Association. We offer a high level of stroke treatment and care to patients in Dallas County. We offer customer conveniences and state-of-the-art technology to exceed our patient’s expectations. We provide a pleasing environment. Job Summary And Qualifications
Our Clinical Dietitians are responsible for coordinating patient nutritional care under the general supervision of the Director of Food and Nutrition Services. What you will do in this role:
- You will be a member of Nutrition Support Team with the pharmacist and physician(s).
- You will provide nutritional screenings and assessments of patients.
- You will educate the patient on therapeutic diets.
- You will inform Aide staff in deciding which patient foods are allowed and disallowed based on the prescribed diet.
- You will document the patient’s tolerance, appropriateness, response to nutritional support and make recommendations.
- Commission Dietetic Registration
- Licensed Dietician must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
- Bachelors Degree
