Our Clinical Dietitians are responsible for coordinating patient nutritional care under the general supervision of the Director of Food and Nutrition Services. We offer 2 convenient ER locations, including our off-campus ER in Saginaw. Our maternity floor includes labor and delivery suites and c-section ORs. We have a well-baby nursery, postpartum rooms, and a Level III NICU. We offer compassionate care with state-of-the-art surgical equipment. Our hospital offers robotic surgery to perform procedures. Job Summary And Qualifications
Our Clinical Dietitians are responsible for coordinating patient nutritional care under the general supervision of the Director of Food and Nutrition Services. What you will do in this role:
- You will be a member of Nutrition Support Team with the pharmacist and physician(s).
- You will provide nutritional screenings and assessments of patients.
- You will educate the patient on therapeutic diets.
- You will inform Aide staff in deciding which patient foods are allowed and disallowed based on the prescribed diet.
- You will document the patient’s tolerance, appropriateness, response to nutritional support and make recommendations.
- Commission Dietetic Registration
- Licensed Dietician must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
- Bachelors Degree
