Job Summary And Qualifications
Under general supervision, the CVT assists with diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cath Lab. Prepares patients for procedures, documents appropriate information, interacts with patients and physicians, and performs related duties as assigned. Employee will recognize the population specific needs of the CAD, CHF, PVD, MI, UA and Angina patients and apply the appropriate knowledge, skills and behaviors to meet those needs when performing patient care activities.

Medical City Fort Worth serves as a tertiary referral center for Tarrant County and many counties within a 90 mile radius. We offer comprehensive diagnostic and treatment services. Our specialties include cardiac care, neurosciences and oncology. We have surgical services, orthopedics, kidney transplants and emergency care. We offer three ER locations, including two off campus ER located in Burleson and White Settlement. Medical City Fort Worth is a designated comprehensive stroke center. We are a Joint Commission chest pain center. We are a part of the Medical City network of hospitals. Job Summary And Qualifications

What qualifications you will need:
- Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support
- High School Graduate / GED
- Graduate of an accredited school of cardiovascular technology preferred.
- Current CVT certification preferred
- Current registration as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) preferred; or must be enrolled in an accredited RCIS program and/or be registry eligible; RCIS certification obtained within 24 months of transfer or hire preferred.
