Job Summary and Qualifications

Coordinates Patient Safety/Risk Management programs for the facility. Responsible for promoting safe and efficient work environments for all staff members and patients. Coordinates facility wide risk and patient safety related programs for the continuous improvement of the quality of care and service affecting all customers - patients, physicians, employees and payors.

What qualifications you will need:

• Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in risk management, patient safety and/or quality improvement preferred.
• Two years of supervisory experience.
• Texas State RN license or compact license is preferred.
• Certified in Risk Management, CPHQ or other quality certification preferred.
