- Training and Experience:
- Current BLS through the American Heart Association is required upon hire or transfer to the department.
- Full-time status. Minimum of three (3) years full-time R.N. experience. Prefer minimum one (1) year leadership experience in a defined leadership role.
- Successful completion of general and nursing orientation within 3 months of hire.
- Completion of the following competencies within three (3) months of hire or transfer:
- Leadership: professional standards, ensuring policies and procedures are incorporated into quality care, delegation, decision-making, conflict management
- Facilitate development of nursing personnel
