Position Summary
Works independently under regular supervision and follows structured work routines. Works in a fast paced, multi task environment with high volume and immediacy needs requiring independent decision making and sound judgment to prioritize work and ensure appropriateness and timeliness of each patients care. This position requires the ability to retain large amounts of changing payer information/knowledge crucial to attaining reimbursement for the services provided, as well as proficiency in scheduling guidelines for multiple outpatient departments. Primary external customers include patients and their families, hospital departments, physician office staff and third party payers.

Qualifications
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
- Training and Experience:
- Must possess excellent organizational skills, as well as effective
- Be proficient with commonly used office software and computers.
- Two years of medical clerical experience; preferably in a hospital or

- Ability to perform:
