Position Summary
The LVN/GVN assists the physician and mid-level practitioners in providing quality care as delegated. This individual is also cross trained to assist in clerical tasks, waived testing and phlebotomy/ venipuncture.

Qualifications
- Education: Currently licensed as a Vocational Nurse by the Board of Nurse Examiners for the State of Texas OR hold a current Texas permit.
- Training and Experience:
- Minimum of six months experience working as an LVN preferred; one year of experience in an ambulatory setting preferred. Bilingual abilities desirable but not mandatory.
- Current BLS Certification within 90 days of hire required.
- EKG and Cardiac Rhythms knowledge
- Mental Health First Aid-Suicide Awareness Training
- Demonstrate appropriate leadership skills:
- Professionalism

- Modeling Decision-making and problem resolution
- Ability to perform:
- Heavy lifting
- Sustained standing and walking
- Work under stress
- Varied work hours and shifts including weekends and holidays
