Position Summary
Functions as a staff nurse under the guidance and supervision of an experienced R.N. Performs routine patient care assignments and carries out established nursing procedures utilizing the nursing process.
Education
Hold a current Texas permit or license as a Registered Nurse. Critical care units require a minimum 1 year appropriate experience as a registered nurse in an acute care setting. BSN preferred.
B. Training And Experience
Certification as appropriate to unit requirements. BLS Certification, ACLS and Critical Care Course with in one year of employment.
