Medical Center ENT is seeking a full-time Audiologist to join our established and growing ENT practice in Houston.
This position is part of a planned transition within our long-standing audiology department. Our current lead audiologist, who has been with the practice for many years, will be actively involved in helping ensure a smooth and thoughtful transition.
This is an excellent opportunity for an audiologist who is looking for a stable long-term position, a strong physician referral base, and the opportunity to gradually take on additional responsibility within an established audiology program.
The Opportunity
The incoming audiologist will work closely with our ENT physicians, advanced practice providers, and existing audiology team while becoming familiar with the department's established workflows, patient-care approach, and day-to-day operations.
During the transition period, the new audiologist will have the opportunity to work alongside our experienced lead audiologist and benefit from her extensive knowledge of the practice and patient population.
Over time, the right candidate may have the opportunity to take on greater responsibility within the audiology department and play an important role in its continued development and growth.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive audiologic evaluations
- Conduct diagnostic hearing assessments
- Provide hearing aid evaluations and recommendations
- Fit, program, and adjust hearing aids
- Provide follow-up care and patient counseling
- Educate patients regarding hearing loss and treatment options
- Work closely with ENT physicians and advanced practice providers
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Participate in the continued development of audiology workflows and services
- Help provide continuity of care during the department's planned transition
- Take on additional responsibilities as appropriate based on experience and interest
Qualifications
- Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) or equivalent audiology degree
- Current Texas audiology license or eligibility for Texas licensure
- Strong diagnostic audiology skills
- Experience with hearing aid evaluation, fitting, and programming
- Excellent communication and patient-care skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and clinical staff
- Dependable, organized, and comfortable working in a busy medical practice
Experience working within an ENT practice is preferred but not required.
Leadership or supervisory experience is also welcomed but is not required. We are primarily looking for the right person to become a long-term member of the practice and grow into additional responsibilities over time.

Compensation
Competitive compensation based on experience, qualifications, clinical background, and responsibilities.
