Bilingual (Spanish) Medical Billing Specialist- Full Time/Part-Time Position

Primary Responsibilities to include but not limited to:

· Payment posting (Insurance and patient payments)

· Actively working and researching claim denials and contacting payors for timely payment resolution

· Work account receivables and file claim appeals

· Answering phones and assisting patients with their billing concerns

· Communicating areas of concerns with regards to client issues, payor issues, denials etc. to management

Job Requirements:

· Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience manually and electronically posting insurance and patient payments

· Must know and understand FULL CYCLE medical billing (including appeals, diagnosis linkage issues, modifiers, NCCI, global periods, understanding the different reasons/ways to appeal denied claims)

· Have in depth knowledge of most insurance carriers, working knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 codes

· Must understand and follow HIPAA guidelines

· Must be able to multi-task and posses strong organizational, communication and problem-solving skills.

· Must be able to multiple computer screens

· Reliable and hard-working candidate that can work both independently and be a productive team player

· Experience with eClinicalWorks and/or IMS a plus

· Be fluent in Spanlish

Additional helpful information:

· Office hours: Monday-Friday 8:30a- 5:00p

· Job Type: Full Time

· Salary $18-$20/hr

· Office located in Frederick

· If selected for an interview, you may be presented with medical billing and typing test (including 10-key).

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
