Duties
- Assist healthcare providers in delivering patient care
- Perform clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, EKG, collecting medical history, and preparing patients for examinations
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are clean and stocked with necessary supplies
- Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and processing insurance claims
- Offer patient service by answering questions, providing education, and addressing concerns
Qualifications
-Must be ACLS certified, if not, will reimburse towards certification
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program or equivalent training
- Knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Ability to accurately measure vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature
- Familiarity with coding systems such as ICD-10 and CPT
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare team members
