Medical Associates of Northern New Mexico is seeking a qualified, care-focused Medical Assistant to work alongside a provider in Primary Care.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and prepare exam rooms
- Prep charts prior to patient visit
- Room patients, including verifying patient information and taking vital signs
- Assistant provider during exams and medical procedures
- Counsel patients and help them feel at ease by explaining providers' instructions, treatment procedures, medication instructions, and other questions regarding provider's directed care
- Collection and prepare lab specimens
- Perform basic lab tests
- Administer vaccinations
- Transmit prescription refills
- Operate EKG and other equipment
- Clean and sterilize instruments
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years experience in a medical office
- Written and oral communication
- Compassionate demeanor and patientcare
- Certified Medical Assistant preferred
- Ability to keep cool in high pressure/fast pace
Schedule:
Full-time: 5 8hr days or 4 10hr days.
Part-time: 8am-2pm T-Th; 11-5pm F

Our office also includes a Walk In Clinic and Ultrasound Lab. MANNM is a physician-owned practice that has served the area for over 50 years. Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
