Front Desk / Medical Assistant – Busy Medical Aesthetics & Wellness Clinic (Topeka, KS) Pay: 16–20/hour, depending on experience Schedule: Part-time, 24-32 Hours per week
About Us- The Refinery Medical Aesthetics is a busy, growing med spa in Topeka offering injectables, laser treatments, facials, hormone optimization, and wellness services. We're a close-knit team that cares about giving every client a welcoming, high-quality experience from the moment they walk through our doors.
About the Role-We are looking for a gracious, detail-oriented professional to join our team in a hybrid role supporting both our front desk and our clinical providers. The ideal candidate brings a genuine love for people, a calm and composed presence in a fast-paced setting, and a sincere interest in aesthetics and wellness. Front Desk Responsibilities
- Greet clients warmly and manage check-in and check-out
- Answer phones, emails, and messages promptly and professionally
- Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments
- Process payments, packages, and memberships
- Keep the lobby and front area clean and inviting
- Share information about services, promotions, and products
Medical Assistant Responsibilities
- Room clients and prepare treatment rooms
- Take vitals and update medical history and documentation in the patient chart
- Assist providers before, during, and after treatments
- Take before-and-after photos
- Clean, sanitize, and restock rooms and supplies
- Follow infection control and safety protocols
What We're Looking For
- Front desk, customer service, or medical office experience preferred
- MA certification or medical/aesthetics experience is a plus (willing to train the right person)
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Comfortable with scheduling software and computers
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player
- High school diploma or equivalent
