Job Title: Senior Care Advocate (Temporary)
Location: Lynwood, CA (On-site)
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Overview:
The Senior Care Advocate supports PACE participants by coordinating services, resolving inquiries, and ensuring a high-quality member experience. This role focuses on customer service, issue resolution, and retention while working closely with interdisciplinary teams and adhering to state and federal regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a primary point of contact for participant inquiries, service requests, and eligibility issues
- Handle complaints, grievances, and appeals through resolution
- Coordinate disenrollments and support retention efforts
- Document and process incident reports and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with internal teams, providers, and agencies (e.g., Medi-Cal/Medicare)
- Assist with participant satisfaction surveys and recommend improvements
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation in EMR systems
- Participate in meetings and support audit/compliance activities
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent required (Bachelor’s preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of customer service experience (healthcare preferred)
- Knowledge of Medi-Cal, Medicare, and Social Security required; PACE experience a plus
- BLS certification required
- Experience working with elderly or frail populations preferred
- Bilingual (Spanish, Chinese, or other) strongly preferred
Skills:

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer systems
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Understanding of HIPAA and healthcare regulations
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
- On-site role with occasional travel for meetings or home visits
- Ability to sit, stand, and lift up to 10 lbs
- May work outdoors during home visits in varying weather conditions
Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
