Summary:
The Business Analyst, Strategic Growth manages the daily execution of Gracelight Community Health's expansion strategy by identifying and advancing acquisition and partnership opportunities with medical practices, FQHCs, and other healthcare organizations. This is an onsite, early-career role that offers direct mentorship from the CFO and hands-on experience throughout the entire acquisition process, from sourcing opportunities to due diligence, negotiations, and closing deals.
Key Roles:
- Conduct market and industry research to identify acquisition and partnership opportunities.
- Build and manage a pipeline of FQHCs, medical practices, dental groups, and other healthcare organizations.
- Analyze healthcare market trends, payer mix, and the competitive landscape in Southern California.
- Research potential partners using databases, public records, and professional networks.
- Reach out to executives, providers, practice owners, and organizational leaders.
- Coordinate and participate in introductory meetings with prospective partners.
- Develop financial models to evaluate acquisition opportunities.
- Analyze financial performance, valuations, and projected investment returns.
- Assess operational performance, revenue cycle, and cost structures.
- Support due diligence across financial, operational, regulatory, and compliance areas.
- Organize document requests and manage virtual data rooms.
- Assist with deal structuring, internal approvals, and contract execution.
- Coordinate with legal, accounting, and external advisors during transactions.
- Monitor deal progress and key milestones through closing.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- 1–4 years of experience in investment banking, consulting, healthcare administration, corporate finance, or a related field preferred.
- Strong interest in healthcare, nonprofit organizations, and mission-driven work.
- Excellent analytical, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication with the ability to collaborate across teams.
- Proficiency in Excel; financial modeling experience is a plus.
- Understanding of financial statements and basic accounting principles.
- Ability to quickly learn new systems and software tools.
Pay: $81,201.00 - $120,981.00 per year
