Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Delivery Driver for local deliveries throughout the state of Florida. Driver must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience. This individual will be driving a box truck, pulling trailers; load and unload plumbing and HVAC equipment with a forklift; lifting at least 50 lbs. and climbing ladders. This individual must be organized and able to maintain a flexible delivery schedule; with some early starts days at 5 am when delivering south to Naples or north to the Pan Handle area. Driving days can vary (i.e. 12 hours one day and 5 hours the next); therefore, individual must be willing to help in the warehouse if there are not enough driving hours. Driver should have good customer relations and be able to work independently as a take-charge individual with good communication skills.
Requirements:
- Must have at least 5 years’ experience as a delivery driver.
- Must have a valid Florida Driver’s License.
- Must be reliable and able to maintain Delivery schedules.
- Must be able to load and unload vehicles; lifting at least 50 lbs.
- Must be proficient with hauling 10' to 25' long trailers.
- Must be organized.
- Must be able to take charge and communicate well with others.
- Forklift required; will train.
- CDL a plus.
