Duties
- Install new signs according to technical drawings, schematics, and safety standards using appropriate tools and equipment
- Conduct electrical diagnostics to troubleshoot and resolve wiring or power issues with signage systems
- Interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately to ensure precise installation and alignment of signs
- Perform maintenance, repair, and operational checks on existing signage to ensure optimal performance
- Utilize heavy equipment mechanics knowledge when handling large or complex signage installations involving cranes or lifts
- Use tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters for electrical testing and diagnostics during installation or repair processes
- Collaborate with project teams to plan installation sequences, adhere to safety protocols, and meet project deadlines
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge related to sign mounting hardware, supports, and structural components
- Experience with heavy equipment mechanics for operating lifts, cranes, or other machinery used in installations
- Technical proficiency with tools such as drills, and hand tools for precise work
