Bay Area News Group is looking for a part-time warehouse worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the inserting process for our publications is completed on a daily basis.

Bay Area News Group is looking for a part-time warehouse worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the inserting process for our publications is completed on a daily basis.
What You Will Do
- Hand-insert free-standing inserts into the inserting machine
- Use the shrink-wrap machine to wrap pallets
- Operate pallet jacks or forklifts to move materials between the mailroom and the warehouse
- Handle a “jogging” table to align all inserts perfectly prior to loading an inserting pocket
- Work on the binder machine to load signatures
- Load mail pieces into the mail machine and gather addressed pieces off the conveyor
- Responsible for the daily cleanup of the mailroom
- Certain positions are responsible for shipping/receiving materials
- Some positions use computer software to manage shipping materials
- Must be a team player with the ability to follow supervisor directions
- Good communication skills
- A positive, energetic personality
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous warehouse, material handling, or forklift experience preferred; computer proficiency is a plus but not necessary
