Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Lead Installer at MediaMerge, located in Birmingham, AL. The Lead Installer will oversee the installation and integration of professional audio, video, and lighting systems for various client projects. Key responsibilities include leading installation crews, ensuring installation projects are completed on time and meet company standards, troubleshooting and resolving technical challenges, and working collaboratively with the design and project management teams. This role also involves maintaining a high level of quality and professionalism while ensuring safety and compliance at all times.
Qualifications
- Comprehensive understanding of audio, video, and lighting systems, including installation and integration procedures
- Familiarity with technical layouts, schematics, and blueprints
- Strong teamwork and leadership capabilities to guide installation crews effectively
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to solve technical challenges under tight deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with clients, team members, and stakeholders
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, on-site environment in Birmingham, AL
- Previous experience in professional AVL installations is required
- Certification from AVIXA, NSCA, or similar industry organizations is preferred
- Physical ability to lift and transport equipment and work at heights
