Role Description
Are you looking for a rewarding career in construction with a company that values respect, teamwork, and craftsmanship? Medial Construction Services is seeking a Carpenter and a General Laborer to join our team!
Positions Available
Carpenter: Experience in remodels, additions, decks, and home repairs is preferred. Ability to read plans and ensure quality workmanship. Having your own tools is a plus! This role is open to candidates at various experience levels — from those looking to develop their carpentry skills to seasoned carpenters ready to hit the ground running.
General Laborer: Assist with job site tasks, material handling, and general construction duties. No prior experience required — we're willing to train the right person who shows up ready to work and eager to learn.
About the Roles
These are full-time, on-site positions based out of Schuylerville, NY. Day-to-day tasks include framing, roofing, siding, finishing work, material handling, and general site support. Both roles work collaboratively to ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and according to project specifications and timelines.

Qualifications
- Reliable & Punctual — Show up on time, ready to work with proper tools and gear
- Strong Work Ethic & Positive Attitude
- Ability to Work in Various Weather Conditions
- Experience with Construction Labor, Framing, Roofing, and/or Siding is a plus
- Knowledge of Safety Regulations and Job Site Best Practices
- Ability to Read and Interpret Basic Plans or Blueprints (Carpenter role)
- Experience with Power Tools and Hand Tools (Carpenter role — tool belt preferred)
- Smartphone — Required to log hours through our Time Clock App
- Valid Driver's License & Reliable Transportation — Required to meet at company headquarters each morning unless advised otherwise
- Flexibility — Projects may be located within an hour of company headquarters
- OSHA Certification is a plus, but not required — training can be provided
